Facets: A Letter from The Diamond Place

A Note from our Founder:

Happy June, everyone! June has been a month of momentum, connection, and possibility.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

With gratitude,

Tiffany

What's happening with The Diamond Place?

My Absolute Essentials (MAE) is one of our biggest projects. Our goal with MAE is to create a trauma-informed AI resource navigation platform that doesn’t overwhelm trauma survivors who need help with:

  • Housing
  • Food
  • Financial assistance
  • Employment resources
  • Mental health support
  • Other essential services

Our goal for MAE is to help individuals and families access resources as they navigate difficult circumstances. Surviving trauma is difficult enough; finding resources shouldn’t be. We’re currently working with Futran Solutions to explore the technology and future development of the MAE platform.

Where We've Been

Over the past month, The Diamond Place has participated in the Littleton Block Party, the ACHIEVE Workshop, Englewood Chamber events, and the Wine, Women & Wealth networking event. In addition, we have made more than 500 individual connections with community leaders, nonprofit partners, and professionals to learn about community needs, explore collaboration opportunities, and expand our support network. These conversations and events have helped us build meaningful relationships, share resources, and introduce more people to our mission of helping women heal from trauma and create pathways toward financial independence. Every connection strengthens our ability to serve the community and create lasting impact.

We're excited to announce our partnership with Rooted 303! Through this collaboration, eligible individuals can now access peer coaching services that may be covered by Medicaid, helping remove financial barriers to receiving support. Together, we're expanding access to trauma-informed, recovery-focused guidance and empowering more people on their healing journey.

In addition we've joined the Denver chapter of the eWomenNetwork, which was exciting! This group provides valuable opportunities for collaboration with local women leaders, business owners, and community advocates who are passionate about creating positive social change.

Where We're Going

On July 2, Tiffany will be recording an episode of the Through the Trauma Podcast to share her story and the mission of The Diamond Place. On July 4, we'll be at the City of Englewood's Independence Day Celebration connecting with community members and sharing resources.

In August, we're partnering with PNC Bank for our free Budgeting Basics workshop at Bemis Library on August 6, followed by the launch of our 4 part financial wellness series with Edward Jones on August 13, beginning with "Starting Over: Your First Financial Steps After a Major Life Change."

You'll also find us at the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival on August 29–30 and the Rally for Recovery at Cheeseman Park on September 19.. Come by and say hello.

Community Basket Raffle Fundraiser

We need donations from local businesses and community members for our Raffle, featuring donated items, gift cards, products, services, and experiences from local supporters. Our goal is to value the basket at $500. Participants will join our newsletter in exchange for a chance to win. We’ll announce the winner on October 1st, after the Dragon Boat Festival.

This fundraiser supports our mission of empowering women to heal from trauma, rebuild confidence, and create pathways toward financial independence.

Thanks for supporting the Diamond Place! Thanks to you, we’re building a stronger, more connected community to help those who’ve suffered trauma rebuild their lives. We are excited about what’s ahead, and we’re grateful for everyone who shares our mission and helps us grow our impact.

~Tiffany
