The Diamond Place Community Newsletter

The Diamond Place Happenings

This month’s newsletter shares upcoming workshops, community collaborations, media highlights, and updates on the future of MAE as we continue building tools that help people move from survival mode toward stability and healing.

At The Diamond Place, we’re working to create simpler, more compassionate pathways forward through trauma-informed workshops, financial empowerment, community partnerships, and now the development of MAE (My Absolute Essentials), an AI-powered digital resource guide designed to help people navigate support with less overwhelm and more clarity.

A Digital Backpack for Life After Trauma

The Diamond Place was selected as a Top 10 finalist in the 2026 Small Business Pitch Competition hosted by B Capital to pitch our trauma-informed AI platform on May 27 for an opportunity to receive $25,000 in funding.

Inspired by my late friend Mae’s vision of helping women experiencing homelessness, MAE (My Absolute Essentials) is being built as a “digital backpack” designed to help people navigate housing, recovery, financial support, mental health resources, and next steps with less overwhelm and more clarity.

We’re excited to continue building a more compassionate and accessible way for people to find support when they need it most..
